Earlier today, January 31, 2005, K9 Molly, partner of Doug, passed away after having been ill for several weeks. Molly died in her sleep prior to planned exploratory surgery. The autopsy that followed her death leaves many questions and speculation that what was found came from her service in New York City at Ground Zero.

Molly will be missed by all that came to know her. She was a true K9 Hero that gave everything when asked.

A service for Molly will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2005, at 2:00 pm. The service will be located at J.F. Gregory Park located behind the Richmond Hill Police Department.
